Terms & conditions

Last updated: 14 May 2026. These terms apply when you book a service with Joltwave Auto Care Sdn Bhd. By confirming a booking you agree to them. Please read them — particularly clauses 4 and 6.

1. Definitions

"Joltwave", "we", "our" means Joltwave Auto Care Sdn Bhd (Reg. 1414763-P). "Customer" means the person whose name appears on the booking confirmation. "Service" means the work itemised on the booking confirmation.

2. Quotes & bookings

Written quotes are valid for 14 days. A 30% deposit is required to lock a slot for any service over RM 800. The balance is due on collection, payable in cash, by debit or credit card, DuitNow QR or bank transfer.

3. Vehicle condition on arrival

The Customer warrants that the vehicle handed over for service is roadworthy and free of any condition (mechanical, electrical or otherwise) likely to cause damage to the bay or to other vehicles on site. Joltwave reserves the right to refuse service if a defect makes the work unsafe.

4. Limits on liability

Joltwave carries professional indemnity insurance for damage caused by our work. We are not responsible for: (a) pre-existing paint, trim or electronic defects flagged in the intake walkaround; (b) latent defects that become apparent only during the work; (c) loss of items left in the vehicle. We strongly recommend removing personal items before drop-off.

5. Coatings & warranties

Ceramic and similar coating warranties are issued by the coating manufacturer in the Customer's name and remain subject to the manufacturer's published terms. Joltwave's role is limited to correct application. Warranty registration details are provided on collection.

6. Cancellations & rescheduling

Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the slot are fully refunded. Cancellations within 72 hours forfeit 50% of the deposit. No-shows forfeit the full deposit. Rescheduling at any time before the slot is free of charge and the deposit transfers to the new date.

7. Collection

Vehicles must be collected within 24 hours of completion. Storage beyond 24 hours is charged at RM 25 per day. After seven days we may treat the vehicle as abandoned in accordance with the Civil Law Act.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute will be referred to the courts of Penang.
