What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website saves on your device so it can recognise you on later visits. Some cookies last only as long as the browser tab is open ("session cookies") and some persist for a configurable period ("persistent cookies"). Joltwave uses both kinds.
The cookies we set
- PHPSESSID (strictly necessary, session) — used to keep your booking form state and CSRF token while you complete the form.
- cookieconsent_status (functional, 12 months) — remembers your choice from the consent banner so we do not ask you again on every visit.
Cookies we do not set
The Joltwave website does not currently set any advertising, retargeting or third-party analytics cookies. If we add an analytics integration in future, the consent banner will be updated and you will be asked again before any new cookie is set.
Changing your choices
You can re-open the consent banner at any time by clicking the "Cookie preferences" link in the page footer. You can also clear cookies directly through your browser settings — see your browser's help page for instructions.
Browser-level controls
Most browsers let you block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or be prompted before any cookie is set. Blocking the strictly-necessary cookie above will prevent the booking form from working — everything else is safe to block without breaking the site.
