1. What we collect
When you submit the booking form on joltwave.pro we collect the name, phone number, email address and free-text message you provide. If you book a service in person, we may additionally collect vehicle registration, make and model, and photographs of the paint condition before and after the work.
2. Why we collect it
The only purposes for which we use your data are: responding to your booking enquiry, scheduling work on the car, issuing invoices and warranty registrations, and contacting you about the status of an ongoing booking. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
3. Who has access
Access is limited to the four detailers and the studio administrator on the Joltwave payroll. Coating warranty registrations are shared with the coating manufacturer (their privacy policy is provided at the point of warranty registration) for the sole purpose of activating your warranty.
4. How long we keep it
Booking enquiries that do not convert are deleted after 12 months. Records for completed bookings are retained for seven years to honour warranty claims and meet Malaysian tax record-keeping requirements. Photographs are kept for two years unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
5. Cookies and analytics
The Joltwave website uses functional cookies (so the cookie banner remembers your choice) and may use anonymised aggregate analytics if you accept analytics in the cookie banner. See the cookie policy for the full list.
6. Your rights
Under Malaysian PDPA you have the right to access the personal data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent for us to process it, and ask us to delete it (subject to the retention requirements above). To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] and we will respond within 21 days.
